did you ever get on a treadmill/carnival ride/moving sidewalk/escalator (not really realizing that it was a treadmill/carnival ride/moving sidewalk/escalator at the time, of course) and somehow during the ride find that you are:
A) really, really done with the ride and getting a wee bit motion sick
B) wanting to go in a new direction
and
C) not really knowing how to get off the danged thing?
yeah. it’s kind of like that. of course, it helps to know where you want to go, dontcha think? hah, minor details! in some ways, i have a clear vision of my final dream-art-destination, but the specifics on what to do or how to get there get really fuzzy and out of focus, you know?
my thought today is that i want to get off this ride and start fresh. off is where i want to go.
does that count, do you think?
