Oh how I’ve been neglecting this blog...falling in love with Hayao Miyazaki’s artwork...“Castle in the Sky” and “My Neighbor Totoro” (both are dubbed in English! hooray!)...
...and working nonetheless, and enjoying a wonderful, lazy, sleep in until 10:00 am 2009 summer, all while valiantly ignoring the fact that my bigger little one will start kindergarten in July, lest I start to wallow in depression (all the moms out there can relate, I think!)...
...beach days...lots of beach days...
...rinsing off with ice cold water from grandma’s water hose...is there anything better?!...
...prime shark feeding time, but one of my favorite times of day to get in one last swim...twilight...this is an area called 'Three Tables' on the North Shore of Oahu...this, after a family picnic under the trees...a perfect day...the world continues to get crazier and scarier, so it’s a relief to wrap yourself in people that love you, have time to be still and ground yourself in God’s love and just live in the blessings of the moment...what have you been doing this summer?
